Noticeboard

Flu season is here!

If you; are a carer, are aged over 65, are currently pregnant or have a long-term medical condition you may be eligible for a flu vaccination. Please speak to a member of our reception team to book an appointment.

Prescription Requests

From 1st September 2019 there will be changes to the way we handle some prescription requests. Please see our Repeat Prescriptions page for more information.

Exciting News!

We are delighted to announce the arrival of three new doctors at Cheddar Medical Centre. This summer Dr Emma Ginn, Dr Miriam Walsh and Dr Amy Alsop have joined the practice.

As you may know Dr Hayward left us last year and her patients have been cared for by locum doctors in her absence. With the arrival of our new doctors we can begin the process of allocating a new usual GP to all of Dr Hayward's patients. If you are unsure of the name of your usual GP please speak to a member of our reception team who will be able to help.

Text Messaging Service

We are introducing a new text message reminder service! More information and instructions on how to sign up can be found at the bottom of our appointments page.

Our PPG is made up both with patients who attend the quarterly meetings in the Medical Centre and patients who communicate with the Practice via email (our virtual PPG).

We find it valuable to be able to communicate with as many patients as possible and recognise that not all patients are able to attend meetings in the evening.

Should any patient wish to receive electronic updates from PPG including minutes of the meetings and updates on current work streams please contact Pauline Drummond, Practice Manager in the first instance. Her email address is:

pauline.drummond1@nhs.net

Many thanks.

OUR NEXT MEETING:
